Eastergram.

On any given Holiday you can expect my instagram to blow up.
I like to think of it as "instablogging."
Today was no exception.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
I did not leave any details out.

Breakfast: Starbucks, Iced Caramel Machiatto. My drink was ombre before I stirred it. I thought it was so pretty and awesome, so naturally I took a picture!
Lunch: We ate at SaltGrass Steakhouse after Church. My Chicken was shaped like a heart.
Dinner: my parents came over and made a Traditional Raines family Easter feast. It was so delicious. Also pictured: the Easter basket my mom brought me. I was wondering the whole day if it was going to get one because I am married now. I am excited to know that marriage does not exclude me from these treats.

Left: My hansome man and I on our first Easter.
Middle: I edited this picture today and made myself laugh.
Right: My mom showed up wearing the same colors as me.

I love the holidays. The pretty dresses, the food, the candy and festivities.
BUT
I hope I never loose sight of the reason and significance of this day.
I was taking notes in church today and saw my notes from last Easter and was reminded of this word.
Beautiful.

Peach Posh: Mint and Yellow.

I love mint. The color and the flavor.
I love putting every color with mint.
red. navy. cobalt. green. white. black.
For Easter, it was yellow.

I had my first Sam Moon experience yesterday and scored this gorgeous yellow bib necklace.
obsessed.

For those of you who don't know, sam moon is a girls dream. I giant store full of bags and accessories.

mint and yellow is all over pinterest. I knew what dress I wanted to wear and saw a girl walking around the store with this necklace and did not leave until I found it.
best part of this story. The necklace was 10.99 and it came with earrings.
real life.

necklace: Sam Moon
Dress: Dress Up Boutique
Watch: gift (macy's)
Shoes: hand-me-down from my mother-in-law

It was really sucky, for lack of better word in my vocabulary, to not be with my sisters today.
We usually have a super awesome photo shoot and eat way too much food.
Funny thing is, We all still coordinated our dresses and didn't even know it.
The oldest sister (kim) and I are Easter dress repeaters, but we still look good!
Tori, who shares the middle sister spot with me, looks amazing and confident. She has lost a lot of weight and is still going. you can see for yourself here
My little sister (Melanie) is wearing a dress I was just drooling over like yesterday.
Stylin' Sisters.
(L to R: Tori, Melanie, Kim)

My brother's girlfriend was dressed super cute today too. She took my blog picture for me so I snapped a pic of her too. THOSE SHOES, y'all.

Hope you had a fabulous and fashionable Easter.

Peach Posh: Leopard and Polka Dots

Probably my favorite pattern mixing: Leopard and Polka Dots.
I wear my leopard flats like they are a neutral shoe and my closet is slowly filling up with polka dot tops in all shapes and sizes.
This week I wore polka dots 3 days in a row.
I am a little obsessed.
Sorry I'm not sorry.

I wore this outfit to run some errands alone and for a dinner and movie date with my in-laws.
Life of a band wife.
It was a wild Saturday.

Also, I am getting better at my "blog poses." I have been taking notes.

Necklace: gift (sam moon)
Sweater: old navy
Shirt: cotton on
Pants: old navy
shoes: famous footwear

I tried the outfit on with heels because I was bored and these shoes have been in the trunk of my friends car since my wedding rehearsal and I just got them back.
oops.

I never really wear heels in real life. I am a tall enough and I really suck at walking in heels.
BUT, I am a girl, and I still love a cute heel.
I just think I am more in love with the idea.

The Clumsy Chronicles

I have decided to start a new on going series of entries something that is of constant occurrence in my life. Welcome to clumsy city aka the life of Leann.

Just a little here and there moments for comic relief. Seriously, it's ridiculous y'all.

Episode 1:

When: roughly 10:01 am
Where: CFA
Incident: you see our cherries and lemons are in the same container (separated of course), I was trying to pull them closer to retrieve some lemon wedges and instead of sliding across the counter, it just topples over. Cherry and juice everywhere. I frantically clean up my mess forgetting to put on gloves.
Result: red stained hands

Episode:2
When: approximately 7:13pm
Where: kitchen
Incident: While creating a delicious paleo dessert, I had to learn the art of coring an apple. Instead I cored my hand.
Result: nice sized slice between my thumb and index finger and a sweet large flesh colored band-aid.

This could honestly become a daily entry and launch me into the blog A-list.

Welcome to my crazy, entertaining life.

Peach Posh: The long and short

I will one day be better at posting on this blog.
I will have more time. One Day.
***
Recently I decided to cut all my hair off.
I also, have 2 simple going out outfits I would like to share.
One featuring my perfect bun's last appearance for a while and the other featuring my fresh do.

THE LONG:

bun assistance: Charming Charlie
Jacket: Lucky Outlet
Top: gift from Mother-in-Law
Tank: wal-mart
Jeans: gap
Big Black: Wilson Leather Outlet
Boots: Rack Room?

a close up of my pattern mixing I was so proud of.
I wore this outfit for wings and bowling for a friend's birthday.

THE SHORT:

Long Bob: Chelsea Grisham
Top: Marshalls
Pants: Target
Boots: Ross (originally); fabric added is from Joann's

I wore this outfit during the day with sandals for manicure, lunch and shopping with one of my girl friends.
I added the boots and lipstick for dinner and drinks (with occasional dancing) with some other girl friends.
My husband was out of town and I was trying to get out of my grandma status.

My haircut was inspired by these two pretty ladies.
P.S. Sophia Bush is my woman crush
and let's be honest, no one loved Olivia's mean girl attitude on the hills, but the girl has got style.

xoxo,
Mrs. Peach

Peach Pals

I would love to tell you that my friends dressed with style and sent me a pic from Georgia because they really just wanted to be on my blog...But the reality is they just dress like this on the regular.

These are two of my very best friends and I think we can all agree that they are beautiful. Right? Yes. I miss these ladies very much and the opportunities to dress up together. I do not have much time to dress up outside of work clothes. Boring and sad? Yes. This is why I am always posting on Sundays. Church day, my perfect excuse to plan an outfit.

Back to these beauts. What I love about Brandi and Kayla is that they don't need an excuse to dress cute. they could be going to the grocery store for all I know. I am going to take a wild guess and assume they are doing something much more entertaining, but my point is they dress with style when they want. I wish I had their confidence. Covering every current trend from peplum to pleather and midi dress to bright blazer. I could not be more proud and more inspired. Peach perfect.
